Program and portal updates
Scan Each. The user choice is remembered in each application. No portal option for this update. The data is stored in WSScanEach.
Review + Delete Order buttons. We now have a warning message “All items for Order ABCXYZ will be removed. Are you sure?” that the user must answer Yes or No.
Inquiry.
- Pallets are now listed when doing a Bin Inquiry. That was the last thing needed to be Pallet compliant in Inquiry. Pallets are listed in purple after Bin entry.
- Item, Bin, and Pallet prompts are as wide as the device will permit to allow the display of as many characters are possible.
Receiving by Order \ Receiving by item \ Inventory Receipts. New Profile option “Allow Next Lot \ Serial”. Data for the “next” comes from Item Maintenance \ CI_Item.NextLotSerialNo
Physical Count by Bin – Existing profile option “Freeze All Items in Bin when First Item is collected” now freezes all pallets and all items.
Shipping. New Profile option “Remove box prompt”. All items are recorded in Box 0001.
Directed Shipping.
- New Profile option “Require Manager Approval for Deleting Directed Shipping Data by Order”. Requires Warehouse User equal to “ADM”. Users cannot delete data until ADM enters their password.
- New Profile option “Allow Update Picking Data in Directed Shipping”. When the user has backed out of Directed Shipping and saved their data this new option will prompt the user with “Do you wish to check for updated available inventory?” when they go back into Directed Shipping. Answering Yes will update the WSSOScanDirection table with current quantities. This option is nice when Transfers and Receiving have been performed which changed the BINS that have available quantities.
ALL DIRECT APPLICATIONS.
- We now validate in real-time that the quantity collected is available in the bin presented.
- We now have the “Update\Lookup Bins” button when the user presses the “Skip” button. “Update\Lookup Bins” gets all the bins + quantity available in the bins in real-time for the item that is being skipped which allows the user to go to a bin that they would not have been directed to if Transfers and Receiving have been performed since the directed process began.
Confirm Picking. New Profile option “Auto Start First Order in Confirm Picking”.
All PICKING applications.
- New Profile option “Disallow "New" Sales Orders in Picking”.
- New Profile option “Allow Update Picking Data”.
- New Profile option “Allow On Hold Sales Orders”.
Create New Pallets. New Profile Pallets option “Enabled Multibin option that removes pallets when Invoiced”.
Pallet Transfers. New Profile option “Allow Batches”.
BOM Entry. Pallets collection \ creation. Finished goods can be placed on a pallet. New Profile options include Allow Pallets, Default Initial Pallet to
Messaging on NATIVE. Images can be sent from the camera or gallery.
Allow Preview of Labels. This is Ala Carte and only works with Zebra printers. Enabling in “WMS Settings” adds new Profile “Misc. option” called “Preview of Label design during printing” which can be enabled if the customer wants to see the label design on the device before printing.
Review Lookup: Last Scanned on top instead of First Scanned on top. New Profile “Misc. option” that reverses the order if the items in the Review screens.
GS1 Barcode scanning at the Item prompt. New Profile “Misc. option” that enables GS1 barcode scanning at the Item prompts. See attached.
Issues solved, here are the highlights.
Inquiry.
- The cost field was rounded up because it was working off of the Qty decimal option.
- When you scan a pallet we present the item list. That item list was showing items with zero QOH. Resolve: Remove the Items with 0 QOH.
- Add Last Received Date in Bin lookup.
Receiving by Order and Receiving by Item: Back-ordered quantities are accounted for exactly the same way as Sage. https://scanco.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043659014
Directed Shipping in Multibin. Quantity allocated minus Quantity Available was incorrect due to Quantity allocated towards current Sales order was not accounted for properly.
Quick Picking + Skip Staging bin. When the Skip Staging bin option is enabled, we should not be collecting a staging bin.
All applications that have “Warehouse” prompts. We confirmed we are filling in the Users default from the portal and solved any that were not working properly.
RMA + lots. Multiple Lot quantities were not calculated properly. The entry of Lot A Qty 1 and Lot B Qty 1 was not possible because receiving Lot A Qty 1 meant Qty 1 could not be received for Lot B.
Confirm Picking. We were allowing users to pick items that are on pallets. This causes major issues when the data was imported, so we disallow items that are on pallets now.
Offline mode + Send. We force the user to send all data collected before we allow them back into online mode.
Shipping and Invoicing apps. Disallow Dropship orders since they will not import.
