Portal: Adding Access to Additional Warehouses / Companies

    Problem

    I have a few warehouses (or companies) that I need to add access to be used on the Scanco scanners. Is there a tool to enable certain warehouses or companies?

    Solution

    Yes! This is possible by editing the user's Warehouse profile (for Warehouse 100) or Sales profile (for Scanco Sales) to add access.

     

    PLEASE NOTE: Again, this solution is on a per Warehouse or Sales Profile basis, so if you have multiple profiles set up in your Scanco Portal, make sure the changes made are relevant to the Warehouse or Sales Users tied to each profile.

    Here's how to enable specific warehouses (or companies) in a Warehouse or Sales Profile:

    • Login to the Scanco Portal

    • Click on "Warehouse Profiles" (or Sales Profile for Scanco Sales)

    • Find the Profile you would like to adjust.

    • Select 'Edit' for that Profile.

    At the very top of the next page you will be given a dropdown that will allow you to enable and disable Companies, Warehouses, and Users for this profile:


    If you would like to enable additional company access, you can do so on the Companies dropdown:

     

    If you would like to enable additional Warehouse access to more warehouses, you can do so on the Warehouses dropdown:

     

    Be sure after you have "checked" the warehouses you want to add access to that you press "Save" on the bottom of this Profile Settings page.

    The next time the users tied to that Profile setting log in, they will have access to the companies or warehouses you have enabled!
