WOScan: Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing an issue with your WOScan application please follow these steps: 

 

1. Unable to Sync? 

Please follow these troubleshooting steps below and send me the Sync Timer Log file. Which you can find here: C:\WOScan\SyncTimer\Log.

(ALL STEPS BELOW NEED TO BE FROM THE SERVER AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE USER)

Restart the "SQL Server (WOScan)"

1. Ctrl + R to open the run command

2. Type services.msc and hit enter

3. Find "SQL Server (WOSCAN)"

4. Right click on the "SQL Server (WOSCAN)" and hit restart.

This service will now restart.

 

Restart the "WOScan Sync Timer"

1. Ctrl + R to open the run command

2. Type services.msc and hit enter

3. Find "WOScan Sync Timer"

4. Right Click on the "WOScan Sync Timer" and hit restart.

This service will now restart.

Please wait 5 minutes and try to use WOScan Again.

 

2. Application Error? 

Hit Abort:  Send us some log files: The log files will be located here: C:\WOScan\Logs

They are sorted by date, and it would help us out to get one from the most recent date when you know the error occurred.

 

If restarting the Services did not help, please provide us with the following information. 

1. Is this happening on every device? 

2. When did this first start happening? 

3. Can you reproduce this?

4. Detailed steps to reproduce on our end.
